Hello to all in the Eastern Synod, I am the new Mission Practitioner (Youth)

I have been involved with the URC since the age of 8 when my family moved to Northampton. I joined the Boys Brigade in the Junior section, then completed  the company section and became an officer

I have been involved in youth work most of my adult life, through Boys’ Brigade as well as both church and secular youth groups, most recently helping at the URC ran Dengine venue at Greenbelt

I live on a narrowboat, and have spent the last 8 years moving along the Grand Union canal stopping for no more than 2 weeks, but will be taking a mooring near Thrapston so I can better serve the Eastern Synod

Until recently I was running my own technical lighting design business, as well as working for Frontier Youth Trust (FYT) as their Inclusion Activist

I am excited to start my role within the URC, I am available to support existing youth work and hope to help develop new projects across the synod
