Property Officer

We are delighted to share that Graham Smith is joining us as Property officer, initially on a consultancy basis, as of Mon 2nd June. (Penelope’s successor with a tweaked title but the same email address.)

Graham is a RICS chartered surveyor and registered valuer and has had a variety of roles in property since initially qualifying as a quantity survey after university.

Graham has recently been employed as a general practice surveyor and valuer with a national remit in the Charities Not for Profit sector for the last ten years. The work has primarily been with a variety of Christian denominational clients and other faith-based organisations, concentrating on places of worship and residential properties.

Previously Graham worked in the commercial property industry based in Cambridge and Peterborough working throughout East Anglia.

Some of Graham’s more varied experience has included setting up and managing his own estate agency and project managing accounting database installations for construction companies.

Graham comes from a traditional Church of England family attendance background, but made a personal commitment becoming a Christian as a teenager. He has attended a variety of denominations during his life, according to where he has lived. Graham is married and has four grown up children and now three young grandchildren. He follows a lot of sports, happy to support rather than take part.
