Helpdesk  

The United Reformed Church is delighted to announce that the first Church Life Fund shared services, the URC Resources Hub and Helpdesk, are both now live. The Resources Hub is an exciting new venture for the URC which aims to provide you with all the practical guidance and support to help your church thrive and grow. We hope it will assist you with the administrative, legal, and compliance tasks associated with managing your employees, volunteers, buildings, events, and other aspects of church life, so that you can focus more on your local mission.  

We are very excited that at launch we have a number of resources available for you. These range from GDPR policies, HR templates, selected Ministries documents, and Health and Safety guides. We will continue to develop and upload additional content as it becomes available over the coming months, with an aim to soon provide the full range of resources you need to run your church. You can see the content journey below to see what is to come.  

The Helpdesk is here to offer personal support whilst you use the Resources Hub. If you have any specific questions about the content on the Hub, such as locating the specific guidance notes you might need, or providing the status of updated policies, the Helpdesk is here to support you in finding what you need to complete the tasks associated with running your local Church. We are also here to direct you should you need further expert advice on your queries. In the future the Helpdesk will also be one of the main routes through which local churches can gain access to the Church Life Fund’s Shared Services (e.g. HR Support).
