The Eastern Synod gathers to worship, discuss and decide together at Christ Church Braintree on 14th March 2026
The focus of our agenda is ‘Mission Partnerships – our journey so far’.
The Synod will commence at 10.30am, with refreshments served from 10am. Lunch will be from 1 to 2pm. Closing worship (led by the Moderator and including the induction of Rev’d Janet Sutton to the Ecumenical post serving Cambridgeshire Ecumenical Mission Partnership at which The Revd Dr John Bradbury, General Secretary of the URC, will preach) will be at 3pm and Synod will adjourn for tea at 4pm.
