Synod Meeting – Oct 2024 – Eastern Synod of the United Reformed Church (urceastern.org.uk)

Our focus as we gather together as Synod is Ecumenism. We have invited Lindsey Brown, URC Evangelism and Ecumenical Officer, to speak on denominational aspects and Chris Bolster, Churches Together in Essex and East London, to share on more local opportunities.

The intention is for the papers to be distributed w/c 30th September.

Directions to Witham URC, 90 Newland Street, CM8 1AH

Rail: Witham Railway Station is a half mile (15 minute) walk to the church along Collingwood Road and into Newland Street.

Car: The church can be reached from either Junction 21 or 22 on the A12. There is limited parking at the church: if you need disabled parking, please contact Tony Deighton tony.deighton@blackcatenergyservices.co.uk  01376 518866 or 07764 179792.

Railway Station Car Park (Easton Road, CM8 2DW) – (£3 all day) A half mile (15 minute) walk to the church along Collingwood Road and into Newland Street. There is a road bridge between the car park and the station forecourt.

Newlands Drive (CM8 2UL) (£4.50 6 Hours) – A short walk to the church along Guithavon Street (or through the shopping centre) and into Newland Street.

Mill Lane (CM8 1BW) (£4.50 6 Hours) – A short walk to the church along Bridge Street and into Newland Street.
