New Christmas Book

Halesworth URC member and Assembly-accredited lay preacher, Dorothy Courtis who writes as Dorothy Stewart, has published her sixteenth book, Mothers, Daughters, Wives, a collection of stories taking a different look at some Bible stories – and people (and sheep) involved in the Christmas story. Aimed to surprise and delight, they make a nice little stocking-filler at £5.99 in paperback from Amazon, only 99p as a Kindle e-book, and free on Kindle Unlimited. Dorothy’s other books include When the Boats Come Home, a novel set during the Fishermen’s Revival at Great Yarmouth in 1921, and a family saga, The Mizpah Ring Trilogy. The first book in her Somerset Mystery Series, Loose Ends, was published in March 2024 and the second, Stitch-Up, will appear in February 2025.
