At our March Synod meeting the Call Guidelines proposed by Pastoral Committee were adopted.

In light of experience it was updated following the April Pastoral Committee:

1.1 Addition in relation to the Call Group: ‘It needs to be large enough to be representative but small enough to be manageable. i.e. enough people to determine a candidate’s suitability to “preach with a view” but not so many that arranging dates to meet becomes problematic.’

2.5 Emphasising that a “preach with a view,” will take place over one weekend.

2.6 Clarifying that the expectation should be for one, or at most two, worship services over the weekend.
