How to Use the YouTube Live Chat:

During the live event, you can use the Live Chat to send a message to the people watching.

On a computer

1. Open the YouTube live stream.

2. Look to the right-hand side of the video for the box labelled Live Chat.

3. Click in the box that says “Say something…”.

4. Type your message using your keyboard.

5. Click the arrow/send button to send your message.

6. Your message will then appear in the chat for other viewers to see.

On a phone or tablet

1. Open the YouTube live stream in the YouTube app.

2. Look underneath the video for Live Chat. You may need to scroll down.

3. Tap “Say something…”.

4. Type your message.

5. Tap the send arrow to post it.

If you cannot see the Live Chat don’t worry. The chat may be hidden because of the way the video is displayed on your device. Try tapping the video or scrolling down below it to find the Live Chat.

Remember: Anything you write in the Live Chat can be seen by the other people watching the stream. Also remember to bring bread and wine or the equivalent to the Communion Service and the Friday Theme Talk.
