Great Big Green Week is the UK’s largest celebration of action on climate and nature and churches have been at the heart of since it started. Last year 1.2 million people attended Great Big Green Week events nationwide and we expect 2 million to do so this June, from the top of Scotland to the bottom of Cornwall. 

You and your church networks are trusted voices and spaces and it has never been more important for people of faith to both show the positive steps they are taking for creation and to encourage others in their communities to do the same. Our Christian Communities Resource gives lots of examples of how churches took part last year, as well as encouragement from faith leaders and simple steps you could take to partner with events already being planned in your local area.
