The United Reformed Church gathers as General Assembly between Friday 3 July to Monday 6 July 2026 at The Hayes Conference Centre (Hayes Lane, Swanwick, Alfreton DE55 1AU)..

As part of this Eastern Synod attends through a group of twelve representatives who express the variety, experience and roles we share. (Elders, ministers, young people etc.) We do have two places that are allocated to those under 26 years (who are also eligible to attend the preparation event What do you think? which runs immediately prior to GA).

We are particularly looking for additional representatives who are non-ministers, and also under 26 representatives.

There will be a preparation day at the Synod office on Tuesday 16th June, (TBC) and you will be encouraged to share your experience locally, through your mission partnership / pastorate, and at the Synod meeting.
