Children and Youth Workers Retreat

Pleshy

Friday 12th January – Saturday 13th January Are you leading work Children and young people? The retreat, led by Nicola Grieves is time for workers and volunteers to get together to share some time of rest and relaxation and opportunity to share ideas. The event will be held at Pleshy The House of Retreat, The Street, Pleshey, Chelmsford, CM3 1HA It is a great space for finding some peace and quiet and to get to know one another. We will begin with arrivals from 4pm onwards for afternoon tea and then in the evening spend time getting to know one another and enjoy dinner together. On the Saturday their will be time for sharing and space for quiet reflection. The retreat will end with tea and worship at 3.30pm. There is no charge for the event. Create: Through a celebration art project and music, including drumming/percussion workshop, Drama and dance and the opportunity to sing in a live one-off production of ‘Jonah Man Jazz’ Reflect: Celebrating our Faith, hope and love in Action through Bible study, prayer spaces, storytelling. Exploring Faith in Action including through displays, conversation and all age activities. Theology Day Whittlesford

A day for Ministers, retired ministers, and lay people to talk theology and share ideas. All are welcome. This day will focus on the book ‘Cancer and the Cross’ By Chris Kemshell – minister in this Synod. The day will start with Chris giving us a talk followed by a discussion with a break for lunch.
