It is with deep sadness that we share the news that the Stowmarket URC building will be closing on October 4th 2026. This is the decision of Church Meeting, owing to the state of the tower, on-going personnel, and financial concerns. This is an extremely difficult time for our church, and we have prayerfully considered several options but feel this is the only way forward. The site and building will then be the responsibility of Eastern Synod and the expectation is that it will be sold. The Church members are exploring where they can continue to worship together and will share more of this in due course.
We are looking to welcome anyone who has had connections with us and we would be delighted if you are able to join us for this final service in our Ipswich Street building.(IP14 1AD)
