Melbourn United Reformed Church will be holding our first ever Plygain Carol Service in the New Year. (See poster for details).
This service of traditional Welsh folk carols has a long history in Wales. The convention in the past was for these services to be held in the early hours of Christmas morning, but traditions have largely changed to afternoons or evenings on different days; our service is mid afternoon on the 4th January.
Please do come along and join in the singing, listen to (or learn) some carols you won’t hear anywhere else, and soak up the special atmosphere as these traditional carols are sung.
