As part of Advent, over the weekend of 29th/30th November, Abbey Lane URC, Saffron Walden, Essex, held an Angels & Stars Festival.  The church was filled with a host of beautifully decorated angels and colourful stars.  Contributions came from local schools, community groups and hall users.  The displays will be kept up until after Christmas and there will be another chance for people to pop in and view them on Saturday 20th December, between 1pm-3pm prior to the church’s annual carol service at 3pm.
