Service of Thanksgiving for the life and witness for the past 155 years of New Street United Reformed Church (Dunmow URC Church)

Saturday 17 February 2024 at 2.30 p.m.

With sadness it was decided on 14 January 2024 at a special church meeting that the Church building would close and the congregation be dissolved on 17 February 2024. It is unfortunate that circumstances beyond our control led to this decision being taken. We sincerely trust that each member will continue their spiritual Christian journey and find a loving congregation and join their fellowship, whether URC or another Christian denomination.

However, we believe we have much to celebrate and thank God for as we look back through the years of our church’s life.

You are invited to attend our service of thanksgiving on Saturday17th February 2024. Please feel free to pass this invitation on to the many people who would like to attend a service of thanksgiving but whom perhaps we cannot reach.
